I am a Vancouver based bespoke artist available for private commissions, commercial, and residential high end decorative arts.

Professional Biography

Kristin Johnson has what she teasingly refers to as “a tenuous hold on reality.” She has played the art game for the better part of three decades now, and generally holds a winning hand. In her day job she works within “the industry of art” as a highly sought-after muralist and decorative painter, which has afforded her the opportunity to travel and work in some of the world’s more exotic urban locations – from Monaco and Abu Dhabi to Miami and Las Vegas.

In part inspired by her travel and the opportunity it’s given her to experience cultural perspectives outside our own, her bemused and unique interpretation of the people and things around her leads to some unusual creations. Through her love of music she is often drawn to interpret the forms of musicians, working hands and water because, as she says, “they all flow and create.”
